Ojibwe Language Workshops
We are now offering weekend Ojibwe classes throughout the region; including central, eastern, western, and southern Manitoba. Evening classes may be offered by request.
I have 20+ years teaching experience and currently teach Indigenous Studies and Ojibwe & French in a Middle Years classroom setting. I have a passion for my Indigenous language and want to share it with others.

Classes can support a maximum of 20 people.

Two and a half hour…. half day workshop – $400.00 CAD (morning or afternoon).
Five hour…. full day workshop – $700.00 CAD.
Individual families welcome at $75 CAD per hour maximum six people.
Don’t forget to bring your water bottles and snacks.
The Fine Print
Local workshops in the Selkirk area – no charge for travel.
A travel charge of 50 cents per kilometre for round-trip to other locations (over 10 km from Selkirk). This price includes both myself and my teaching partner.
Maximum of 20 people per group for workshops.
Individual families welcome at $75 per hour maximum six people.
Lunch and snacks will not be provided by us, the language facilitators. Arrangements can be made separately for food and drinks to be supplied.
*Please note that there may be times when I will be teaching workshops alone. The prices will not change but you will be given ample notice if this is going to occur.*
Ample notice may NOT be given in the event that my teaching partner is sick, or because of inclement weather.
You will, however, be fully refunded in the event that the workshop is cancelled due to my illness or inclement weather, or you may apply a credit to an alternate date that is suitable.
Cancellations not related to weather or COVID-19, will only be refunded for half of the total cost of the scheduled workshop.
Cancellation notice is required at least 24 hours prior to scheduled date and times of the workshop.
Meetings may also take place in a zoom meeting setting depending on the current COVID restrictions in the province. Prices will be adjusted accordingly and when agreed upon between both parties.
